situation:The Rendons wanted a rustic & mottled patina with a lot of shine. The floor was unbalanced and bumpy with a lot of cracks that needed to be filled before polishing. Because they have a lot of natural light coming through the windows, we needed to use a chemical stain for color. Dyes are not color fast and will fade from sunlight, so we had to use a chemical stain for this job. We also used Ironite during the stain process in order to create more mottling.

The picture was taken when the floor was polished to 400 Grit. we stained the floor at the 400 grit level. We polished the floor all the way to 3000 grit.
