location:Rocklin,CA
situation: After around 15 years,The owners of the building were having to remove the existing VCT, Carpet and about 2700 square feet of tile. The new tenants wanted a stained and sealed look, but the floor was so damaged a cementious overlay was proposed. The problem with usuing an overlay is that topical sealers would have to be used. Topical sealers are high maintenance and will not hold up to their fork lift traffic. The owners decided to have us grind, stain, densify and polish the concrete surface. The floor was so distressed that the only thing we could do is create a rustic time worn granite look.
